Demo setup

This tutorial will help you setup the HTML demonstrations on your ID-AL video player.
These demos offer an overview of the use of the video player specific features.

Shopping list

To complete this tutorial, you will need:

  • an ID-AL VP320, VP330 or EVP380 video player
  • an external storage device (USB stick or a microSD card)
  • a mouse connected to the video player (or a touchscreen)
  • a personal computer

Downloading the demonstrations

The latest HTML demonstrations can be downloaded here.

Media preparation

Prepare the storage device as described in the Quick start tutorial.

Extract the content of the demonstration archive into the root of the storage device.
The root of the storage device must then contain the following directories:

000 [WEBS 1][LOOP] Main page
001 [LOOP] Video files
002 [LOOP] Video files
www

Add video files in the media directories (the one starting with a number).

Running on the video player

  1. Safely eject the storage device from your computer.
  2. Power on the video player if not already done.
  3. Plug the storage device into the video player.
  4. Plug the mouse into the video player (or connect the touchscreen)

You should see the main page menu on top of the videos located in the 000 directory.
