What’s new:
- Added features to control and configure a AP420 player form Wavespark audio by clicking on the
Player state
cell (firmware 0.51.0
or higher required):
- Selection of the storage device of the player,
- Formatting the removable storage devices in ext4 file system to ensure system robustness against storage media corruption,
- Reboot of the player,
- Shutdown of the player.
- Improved the process of assigning services to the players. The service activated for a player will be automatically re-activated for this one if this player is re-registered in the same organization.
Fixed issues:
- Fixed issues with progress bar display during firmware and project updates.
- Fixed issues with filters in

view.
- Fixed an issue that could display players multiple times

- Fixed an issue with the URL sent for password reset.
- Fixed an issue that crashed players with a firmware version
0.49.3
when a project update was published. Now only players with a firmware version 0.50.1
or higher are allowed to accept project updates.
Known issues:
- Removable storage devices that are not formatted as ext4 is not guaranteed to work in the event of file system corruption. To ensure a smooth operation of
Waves System
players with Wavespark audio, please format the removable storage devices to ext4.
First start
To start using Wavespark audio, please follow these instructions:
- Create your account in Wavespark audio at the following link: https://audio.wavespark.cloud.
- Register your players in your account.
- Activate the service of each player.
- Update your players firmware to the latest available version.
- Format the removable storage devices of your players in ext4.
Note: Firmware updating and formatting of removable storage devices can be done from the player’s web interface or from your Wavespark audio account.
