What’s new:
- Improved project naming method to prevent two project to have the same name.
Fixed issues:
- Fixed some scrolling and display issues in the playlist track list.
- Fixed a
Project states issue in Players list view.
- Fixed an issue that removed scheduled firmware update after the activation of player’s service.
- Fixed minor issues.
Known issues:
- Removable storage devices that are not formatted as ext4 is not guaranteed to work in the event of file system corruption. To ensure a smooth operation of
Waves System players with Wavespark audio, please format the removable storage devices to ext4.

What’s new:
- Added new features to control and configure a AP420 player from
Player state detail view (firmware 0.51.0 or higher required):
- Viewing the current player states (date and time, playback,
continuum, storage and firmware version) (firmware 0.51.2 or higher recommended),
- Viewing network parameters,
- Configuring date and time settings (NTP and time zone),
- Configuring audio settings (Volume, line level and advert program gain).
- Added additional data to know the player’s project status:
Internal, the project was created or modified from the CMS of the player,
Wavespark’s project name, the project was published from Wavespark and is strictly identical to the project in Wavespark,
Wavespark’s project name with a broken link icon, the project was published from Wavespark but modified since it was last published in the player.
- Added a checksum feature when upload new audio files to avoid track duplication in the media library.
- Added a feature to upload audio files directly into a playlist, a music program or an advert program. From the
Add tracks button or with a drag and drop method.
- Added French translation of Wavespark for web browsers configured in this language.
- Added new features in
Billing:
- Balance management for the credited accounts,
- Discount management for accounts that benefit from special discounts.
- Improved the phone number input tool in the add/update
Payment Identity form.
- Improved scrolling of the track list into the playlist.
- Connection of the AP420 player to the
Wavespark audio service more robust.
- Improved English translation texts.
(Administration side):
- Added a discount profile selector in the
Organizations view:
Default: Applies to the organization the standard pricing,
Music Provider: Applies to the organization the decreasing pricing for the music providers,
Free: Applies to the organization a free pricing to use as special demo account.
Fixed issues:
- Fixed a connection latency issue to
Wavespark audio after a network disconnection of a AP420 player.
- Fixed an issue that allowed the hidden files to be uploaded in the media library.
- Fixed an issue that prevented handling a large amount of elements in the content of the music and advert programs.
- Fixed an issue that prevented to setup the storage device of the AP420 player from
Player state detail view.
- Fixed an issue in the track deletion function into the media library.
- Fixed an issue that prevented to drag and drop new tracks out of the droppable zone.
- Fixed various visual issues.

What’s new:
- Added features to control and configure a AP420 player form
Wavespark audio by clicking on the Player state cell (firmware 0.51.0 or higher required):
- Selection of the storage device of the player,
- Formatting the removable storage devices in ext4 file system to ensure system robustness against storage media corruption,
- Reboot of the player,
- Shutdown of the player.
- Improved the process of assigning services to the players. The service activated for a player will be automatically re-activated for this one if this player is re-registered in the same organization.
(Administration side):
- Added an organization selection function from the
Organizations list.
- Added a full organization delete function including account, users, registered players, services, groups, media library and projects.
- Added service management page allowing:
- Manual assignment of a service to a registered player,
- Modification of the duration of the services by extending or reducing the duration in months or by modifying the expiration date of the service.
- Removal of services.
Fixed issues:
- Fixed issues with progress bar display during firmware and project updates.
- Fixed issues with filters in
Players view.
- Fixed an issue that could display players multiple times
Players view.
- Fixed an issue with the URL sent for password reset.
- Fixed an issue that crashed players with a firmware version
0.49.3 when a project update was published. Now only players with a firmware version 0.50.1 or higher are allowed to accept project updates.

- Fixed a problem with filters in the
Services view.

First start
To start using Wavespark audio, please follow these instructions:
- Create your account in Wavespark audio at the following link: https://audio.wavespark.cloud.
- Register your players in your account.
- Activate the service of each player.
- Update your players firmware to the latest available version.
- Format the removable storage devices of your players in ext4.
Note: Firmware updating and formatting of removable storage devices can be done from the player’s web interface or from your Wavespark audio account.
