This program may evolve to bring new features, to change the behavior of the Proxima server, or to fix issues. The firmware can be updated or replaced by following these instructions:
Download the firmware .pxu file from the Support page of the Proxima server on our web site.
Connect to the web administration of the Proxima server.
In the My files menu, create a root folder named UPDATE.
Copy the firmware .pxu file in the UPDATE folder.
In the Settings -> System menu, click on the UPDATE button. Just click once on the button and wait that the update dialog box appears.
Do not turn off the Proxima server until the operation is completed!
And wait until the Proxima server reboots completely.
When the Proxima server is fully rebooted, the firmware installation is finished and the firmware .pxu file can be removed.
The installed firmware version can be checked into the Settings -> About page of the Proxima server’s web administration.
Note: to learn more about the firmware installation, please read the user’s guide of the product.
