What’s new:

• Added automatic allocation of a fallback IPv4 when the DHCP is not available. Address automatically determined in the range 169.254.128.0/24.
• In the Main settings configuration page of the player web interface:
  • Added Change password function in new User section.
  • Added Reboot and Shutdown functions in the System section.
• Added support for Additional date(s) and Excluded date(s) in Repetition settings of calendar programs.
• Improved responsiveness and performance of the Media library.
• Improved responsiveness of the Year view in the Calendar.
• Display of the player’s current date and time rather than those of the web interface in the My player and "Calendar pages.
• Added display of errors when importing tracks into the Media library.

Fixed issues:

• Fixed malfunction issue when the player is set to static IP.
• Fixed an issue with assigning volume and audio level settings.
• Fixed problems in editing web radios.
• When editing calendar programs:
  • Fixed an issue with editing the start date of a program not reflected in its repeat.
  • Fixed a functioning issue of the Playback history of the content in Random playback.
• Fixed an issue when importing tracks into the Media library.
• Fixed an issue of storage media saturation by reducing the space available for the Media Library by 500 MB.
• Fixed minor issues.

Known issues :

• The Monthly and Yearly repetitions of calendar programs are temporarily unavailable.
• Following a factory reset, rebooting the player may require a second reboot to ensure that all settings are applied correctly.
• Changing the content of a program is not applied dynamically to the instance of the program being played.
• On the front of the player, the green NL (Network Link) LED signals the activity of the storage instead of the status of the network connection.
• The end of the repetition of a calendar program whose start is between 00:00 and 00:59 ends one day later than the specified repetition end date.

Installation

The logic and functionality of the player are defined with an internal program called firmware. This program may evolve to bring new features, to change the behavior of the player, or to fix issues. The firmware can be updated or replaced by following these instructions:

1. Download the firmware from the Support page of the player on our web site.
2. Unzip the downloaded ZIP file.
3. Copy the unzipped file ap4xx-update.swu at the root of a formatted in FAT32 or exFAT USB flash drive.
4. Eject the USB flash drive with the ejection process of your operating system.
5. Insert the USB flash drive into an available USB port of the player.
6. Connect to the web administration of the player and go to the section System of the main settings page.
7. Start the firmware update by click on the Update button. Do not remove the USB flash drive or do not turn off the player until the operation is completed. Wait until the player reboots completely.
8. When the player is fully rebooted, the firmware installation is finished and the USB flash drive can be removed.

The installed firmware version can be checked into the About page of the player’s web administration.
